About the Anti-DrugsCommittee

Substanceabuse has become an alarming health crisis in the college campuses across thenation. Anti-Drugs Committee has been formed at Late Bindeshwari Baghel Government Collegeon07/04/2025. Dr. N. Jaishree (Asst. Prof. inChemistry) has been appointed as coordinator, whileDr. Padma Somnathe (Asst. Prof. in Commerce)and Mrs. Malti Paikara (Asst. Prof. in Political Science) are appointed as members of theanti-drug committee.

 Duties of theAnti-Drugs Committee

v To plan awareness campaigns in the college with the assistance ofrelevant approved organizations and agencies.

v To inform the students and neighborhoods about the negativeconsequences of alcohol and drugs.

v To urge students to refrain from using drugs and to report any instancesof drug usage to the Anti-Drugs committee's student volunteers of the college.

Objectives of the Anti-Drugs Committee

   Toraise awareness in order to guarantee a campus free of drugs and substances.

   Toteach students about the negative consequences of drugs and involve them inanti-drug activities.

   Encouragestudents to volunteer for anti-drug initiatives throughout their lives.
